My memories of Michael go back to the 1980's when he was manager of the Paterson office of the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired. I had applied for the vocational counselor position and Michael interviewed me in his very pleasant manner. After hiring me, he often stayed after hours to provide me with valuable suggestions on how to manage my large caseload and other questions I had about my new position. I called him my "mentor" at the Commission. I am sorry to learn of his passing and wish his family well.

I am sorry for the death of Mr. Cassels. God promises to return him to life again (Acts 24:15). It will be a joy to be alive then (Psalm 37:11, 29). Jesus taught us to pray for that wonderful future at Matthew 6:9-10.
