Arthur "Art" Jonas, 81 - Arthur H. Jonas "Art" of West Orange passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at University Hospital in Newark. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM at The Full Gospel Church, 190 West Northfield Road in Livingston, NJ 07039. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 906 South Springfield Ave., Springfield, NJ 07081. Mr. Jonas was born and raised in New York City, living in New Jersey before moving to West Orange 42 years ago. He was a Professor at Kean University in Union for 40 years before retiring in 2009. Art proudly served in the Army during Korea . Mr. Jonas was the beloved husband of Ann Jonas (nee Dornburgh). Devoted father of Nicole Jonas, Timothy Jonas, and Daniel Jonas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
