Obituary of Patrick T. Aufiero

Patrick T. Aufiero, 73 - Patrick T. Aufiero, 73 Randolph passed away Wednesday August 17, 2011 at St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston with his loving family at his side. Relatives and friends may call at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange, N.J. on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be on Saturday 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Liturgy will be offered Saturday August 20th at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, West Orange at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to danglerfuneralhome.com Born in Orange, NJ, Mr. Aufiero lived most of his life in West Orange before moving to Brick for 10 years then Randolph earlier this year. He was an expeditor and safety inspector for Automatic Switch Company of Florham Park for 33 years before retiring 11 years ago. Patrick was a member of the Bocce Club at Greenbriar One in Brick, the Basket Ball League at Automatic Switch Company and coached West Orange Recreation basket ball. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Madeline (nee Musto) Aufiero, devoted children, Lisa Shauger and husband Donald, Patricia Aufiero, Teresa Petit-Clair and husband Bill, and John Aufiero and wife Mary. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Aufiero and is the cherished grandfather of Marisa and Donald Shauger, Raymond and Anthony Petit-Clair, Tara, Patrick, and John Aufiero.
