Obituary of Mary Ann Van Cauwenberge

Mary Ann Van Cauwenberge, 76 - Mary Ann Van Cauwenberge (nee Hulighan) of West Orange passed away on Monday May 9, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 14, 2011 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 10:00 Am. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Orange. Visiting will be Friday 3- 8 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mrs. Van Cauwenberge was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. She was an Executive Secretary working for John Hancock in West Orange for 22 years. She was a member of The Club, which were elementary school friends meeting once a month, Ate is Enough, The Cousins Club, the Purple Ladies Club and was a past member of The Eagle Rock Bowling League. She was the recipient of The West Orange Recreation Department Old Timers Award in 2003. Mrs. Van Cauwenberge graduated from West Orange High School in 1952. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the West Orange Education Foundation, 50 Buckingham Road, West Orange, NJ 07052 c/o The Elizabeth Maddalena Fund. Mrs. Van Cauwenberge was the devoted mother of Debra Guist and her husband James, Patti Van Cauwenberge, Douglas and his wife Marianne, Cathy Del Tufo and her husband Frank. Loving sister of the late William and George Hulighan and Clara Ricardo. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jeremy, Stephen, Timothy, Katie Mae, Elizabeth, Anthony and Kelly. Great-grandmother of Logan.
