Obituary of John Mar Lapsley

John Mar Lapsley Jr., 64 - John M. Lapsley Jr. of West Orange died on Friday May 6, 2011at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. Visiting will be Monday May 9, 2001 from 4-8 PM with the Funeral Services at 7:30 PM. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Orange Elks Special Needs Children's Fund, 475 Main Street, Orange, NJ 07050 Mr. Lapsley was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He was a self employed roofer working for J.M. Lapsley Roofing for 45 years. He was a member of the West Orange Elks BPOE #1590 and the West Orange Anglers. Mr. Lapsley was also the Past President of the Suburban Essex Dart League. Mr. Lapsley was the loving son of Jane Lapsley and the late John Sr. Beloved husband of Jeanette (nee Girone). Devoted father of Linda, Rosey, Dana and Michael. He is also survived by his sister Judith.
