I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Galate's passing. She was such a fixture in our lives on Mountain Avenue. So many of my most vivid childhood memories include her kindness and generosity of spirit. Do you remember when your parents, the Lovelesses and our parents used to surprise each other by ringing the doorbell and visiting as a group for each and every birthday? That went on for years and they always exchanged some kind of gag gift. It was great growing up next door to your family and your mother was such a very special part of those years.
