Obituary of Evelyn Rella

Evelyn "Evy" Rella, 81 Evelyn (Evy) J. Rella, 81, of West Orange, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2015. Evy was born February 18, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Norman and Rose Feldman. She grew up in Irvington and lived most of her life in West Orange. Evy was predeceased by her loving husband Ivan M. Rella and granddaughter Rosemary Frayne. She is survived by her children, Len Litowitz (Evanna), Arlene Litowitz, Judy Rella, Mike Rella (Betty), Deanna Frayne (Tom), Ivan Rella (Denise) and her beloved dog Muzzi-Boo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Her passions included the Yankees, reading, her pets, the beach, boating and swimming. She was fun-loving, a great listener, generous and a friend to all. There will be a graveside service at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover, on Wed, Aug 26 at 11am. Arrangements are entrusted to Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St., West Orange, NJ 07052. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or The National Kidney Foundation.
