Kurt E. Birchler, 29, of West Orange Passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 8:30AM. Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 - 7 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kurt's name to the charity of your choice. Kurt was a lifetime resident of West Orange. He was an electrician with MBH Electric Company for the past 3 years. Kurt attended West Orange High School where he played on the hockey team, and continued to be an avid hockey fan. Kurt was a former member of the West Orange Elks Club. Kurt was the beloved son of James E. & Karla (nee Whelan) Birchler; beloved boy friend of Lindsey Bass; dear brother of Dwayne Birchler and Jamie Birchler; and cherished grandson of Jean Whelan.
