Obituary of Michael Stuart Murtagh

Michael Stuart Murtagh, 57 Michael S. Murtagh, 57, of West Orange, formerly of Jersey City, passed away on Thursday February 12, 2015 at his home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 16, 2015 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 8:30AM. Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael's name to The West Orange Animal Shelter, 311 Watchung Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052 Michael was born in New York City, raised in Ridgefield Park and lived in Fairlawn and Jersey City before moving to West Orange 4 months ago. Michael was the beloved husband of the late Judy Murtagh (nee Pagano). Cherished son of Doris Peterson Murtagh and the late John Murtagh. Loving brother of John, Patrick, Christopher, Judith Givas, David, Catherine Ahearn, Mary Greene, Matthew, Susan Calabrese, Paul and Liam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
