Obituary of John F Fennell

John (Bud) F. Fennell, 87, John F. Fennell, (Bud), 87, of West Orange passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015. John was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. John was an accountant at Bobst Champlain in Roseland for 35 years. He retired and continued working at Immaculate Conception Church in Montclair for 10 years. John was a member of the Holy Name Society as well as the Bingo Committee at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, an avid stamp collector, and a longtime volunteer of Montclair Community Hospital and Mountainside Hospital. John was the beloved husband of the late Ellen (nee Larkin) Fennell, devoted father of MaryEllen and her husband Patrick, Kathleen and her husband, the late Edmund, Carol and her husband, the late Robert, Elizabeth and her husband Peter and Patricia and her husband Robert (Bud). Cherished grandfather of Colleen, John, Kathleen, Christopher, Karen, Amy, Jeffrey, Jenna, Jessie, Ellen, Lauren and Eric, and Great-Grandfather of 13. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange, NJ from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's name to Barnabas Hospice.
