Obituary of Adolf Cholewicki
Aldolf Cholewicki, 100
Adolf Cholewicki age 100 of Tom River/Livingston NJ passed away on Saturday August 10, 2024 peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Adolf was predeceased by his late wife of 72 years Alina. He is survived by his daughter Grace Perlmutter, husband Steve, grandchildren David, wife Amy, Mark wife Lannes and great grandchildren Abigail, Kaitlyn, Lauren and Lucasz . Loving nephew Zbigniew, wife Krystyna great nephew Paweł, wife Magda great niece Karolina, great grandchildren Julia, Damion and Jasmeen.
During WWII Adolf was taken by the German to a mandatory farm work camp for 2 years. He successfully escaped and was in hiding from SS until the end of the war. In 1948 he was taken to Polish army in Modlin. He was assigned to removing German mines from the field previously occupied.
Adolf had a large love for life and was always known for his kindness and mechanical skills (he could fix everything from cars to watches), and his sense of humor.
Adolf’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come, from his stories of his life and his jokester personality. Adolf will be greatly missed.
