Obituary of Dorothy Elizabeth Esposito
Dorothy Elizabeth Esposito, 80, of East Orange formerly of Bloomfield passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024. Devoted mother of Tracey Palmer and her husband Stokely Palmer, Sr.. Cherished Grammie of Stokely Palmer, Jr. and Ronald Palmer. Dear sister of Frances Davis and Deborah Esposito. She is predeceased by her son Jason Traynelis and her sister Rosemary Esposito. She also leaves behind extended family and friends.
Dottie graduated from St Mary's School of Nursing in 1964 and remained a dedicated nurse and staff educator for over 50 years before retiring from Green Hill Senior Living and Rehabilitation, West Orange. In her spare time she enjoyed watching General Hospital and was a social butterfly who loved to make new friends and mentor young adults. What Dottie cherished most however, was spending time with her two grandsons and family. Her love, compassion, and energy were her unparalleled hallmarks and she will truly be missed.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday, March 27th from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange.
The funeral service will be held at Dangler, Thursday, March 28th at 11am. Pastor Zachary Guyton of Bethany Church, West Orange, will be officiating the service
Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
