Hilda E. McCartney, 71

Hilda Elizabeth McCartney, 71, of West Orange, passed away on Friday, April 14th after battling lung cancer.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM with the Funeral Services at 5:30 PM at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange.

Hilda was born on February 29th, 1952, to Robert Roberts and Hilda Schaefer. Hilda married William McCartney on February 17th, 1984.

Hilda had a love for Elvis, elephants, bingo, and her cat, Tabby. She had a generous heart and a loving soul. Hilda enjoyed being around those she loved and cared for.

Hilda was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Robert, Steven, and Lester, and her husband, William McCartney. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Laborde, and her grandsons, Joseph, Brandon, and Stephen.
