Obituary of Devon Brown

Devon Brown of Orange passed away on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at the age of 63. There will be visitation on Saturday August 2nd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be private. On October 16,1950 Devon was born in Aenon Town, Jamaica to Mary and Headley Brown. In 1968 he graduated from Aenon Town High School in Clarendon, Jamaica. In 1972 he married Pamela Ferguson and relocated to Newark, NJ. Devon was known for numerous trades throughout his years he was most know for his technical knowledge in auto mechanics. His willingness to help others cannot be described in words but was defined in his actions. Devon had an extraordinary passion and love for music because he knew " every little ting is gonna be alright". Devon's is predeceased by his mother Mary. His legacy is still being lived through his two sons Devon and Matthew Brown. In addition Devon leaves behind his father Headley Brown; siblings Delroy, Pamela, Margaret, Doreen, Lana, Babes, Marie, Glenn and Swallow: uncles Roy, Rupert & Chaplin; grandchildren Aaron, Darion, Toyan, Kymani and Adonijah and a host of family and friends.
