Obituary of Carmine Vincent Favetta

Carmine Vincent "Shave" Favetta, 86 Carmine Vincent "Shave" Favetta, 86 of West Caldwell passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at West Caldwell Care Center. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 14, 2014 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 8:30AM. Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carmine's name to; Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675. Carmine was born in New York, NY and lived in Orange and West Orange before moving to West Caldwell 3 years ago. He was a Foreman working for General Motors in Clark. Carmine was a member of the Key Club in Orange, the United Auto Workers Union. He was an avid horse and card player. Carmine was the beloved husband of the late Rose Favetta (nee Di Gisi). Devoted father of Roseann Weinfeldt and her husband David, Samuel and his late wife Diana. Loving brother of Dr. John R. Favetta, the late Clara Britton, Joseph, George, and Charles Favetta. Cherished grandfather of Amanda Rose, Peri Rose, and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
