Photos attached are from June 2013. So sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. She and my Mom (Her Aunt Agnes) spoke frequently. They both died on St. Patrick's Day 30 years apart just as their age difference was also 30 years. So very sorry to read of Eleanor's recent passing. Eleanor and I both grew up on Elm St. and after she was married she moved to the house nest to my parents house. They were lovely neighbors and I send my thoughts and prayers to their children and grandchildren. With deepest sympathy, Rita Buoye Sharkey

I loved Mrs. Shannon. She was always so nice and always having dinner for everyone including myself. I remember peeling potatoes in the living room with Lizzy and Peg, doubling up the paper bags, sitting on the couch, with the paper bags open in front of us, then your mom coming out giving us peeler’s. But it was all worth it for the delicious mashed potatoes we would get to eat. She was always happy and just loved to finally sit and relax. But now she has eternal peace and is always at rest and peace. Miss her. Denise Cicenia

I'm so sorry for the loss of beloved Aunt Eleanor. She will never be forgotten. She fought her health battles as a true warrior.
