Obituary of Raymond William Hewitt

Raymond W. Hewitt Sr., 94 Raymond W. Hewitt Sr., 94 of Toms River passed away on Sunday May 5, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Visiting will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange with the Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM at the Dangler Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Raymond's name to the Livingston Mason's Lodge #11 F&AM 19 Burnet Street Livingston, NJ 07039 Raymond was born and raised in West Orange, after the Army he lived in Fairfield, NJ before moving to the shore area. Raymond was a Facility Engineer working for Kearfott in Little Falls for many years. Prior to that he worked as a machinist at the Thomas A. Edison Factory in West Orange. Ray was honored for his years as a Free Mason and as Past Master in the Livingston Masons. Ray was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn "nee Barone" Hewitt. Devoted father of Raymond W. Hewitt Jr. Edward R. and his wife Linda and Robert S. and his wife Elizabeth. Cherished brother of Ann and Johnny. Loving grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 7. Type Obit Here
