William “Bill” Bailey, 78

William “Bill” Bailey, 78, of West Orange passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Church, 94 Ridge Street in Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. For complete notice please visit danglerfuneralhome.com.

Bill was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He was an Accountant and Sales Executive working for Vernon Sal Inc. in Carlstadt for many years.

Throughout his life Bill enjoyed hunting, fly fishing and rooting for the Mets. He spent vacations in Longboat Key and the Keys and enjoyed his weekly Saturdays on the beach in Manasquan.  Most of all, Bill loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren Christopher and Amanda were his pride and joy attending any show performances, cheerleading or tennis events they were involved in.

Bill was the beloved husband of the late Teresa “Terry” Bailey (nee Ruggiero). Devoted father of Jeff Bailey and his wife Denise, and brother to Patricia VanNotti and her husband Gene. Brother-in-law to Nancy and Frank Ruggiero. Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Amanda, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
