Joseph W. Dougherty Jr., 73

Joseph W. Dougherty Jr., of Union Township, known for his strong devotion to his faith, family, and friends, passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 2, 2020. A former beverage systems mechanic for Koch Carbonic, Newark, NJ. He was a proud father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving son Michael and his wife Kristine, and his most cherished grandchildren, Mason and Kayla Rose. He also was the dear brother to Michael, James, Mary Lynch, and the late Bernadette Benson.      

Due to current covid-19 restrictions, viewing will be private.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, West Orange, N.J. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research hospital, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
