Dear Charlie, Betty Ann, Steven, and Chris,
I am so sorry for your great loss! I will always treasure the memories of when we were kids and spending time on Rollinson Street with your mom and dad and our whole beautiful family. I am also so thankful for our lovely cousin brunches where I was able to spend some time with your dad! Your mom and dad were truly loving and caring and I will miss them always. You are their wonderful legacy.... and you will carry that love on just as they always did! I love you all!

I have many fond memories of Charlie. Mostly in a group of the uncles during many family celebrations. Laughing at the kitchen table or being boisterous in front of a ballgame at Rollinson Street. Eating and drinking in the back yard at Rose Terrace while kids ran around. I particularly remember at a summer barbecue, where Uncle Charlie was holding court with a few of us teenagers. We were having an impassioned philosophical conversation about the meaning of life. I couldn't clearly relay the contents of that conversation but I do remember I took it as wisdom. My condolences to all of the Joyce family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie. I have many fond memories of Charlie. Most recently, attending the Army football games at West Point and the Army/Navy games in Philadelphia over the years. So many laughs and good times. My dad always looked forward to "hanging" with his cousin Charlie at those games. I enjoyed sharing my love of classic cars with Charlie. I once accompanied Charlie to a car show in upstate NY years ago. He had his 1948 Lincoln on display. The car enthusiasts loved it. Charlie stood there (in suit & tie) beaming with pride detailing to those who stopped by about his long and labor-loving restoration process. Charlie was a good and descent man who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace Charlie...
