Richard Joseph Hardee "Dutchie" - Richard J. Hardee "Dutchie" of West Orange died on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at his home in West Orange. Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 4, 2010 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Sunday 4-8 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. Hardee was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He worked for the Recreation Department for the Township of Wet Orange for 10 years before retiring in 1981. Mr. Hardee was an avid golfer. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Hardee was the loving brother of Elaine Bury and her husband Edgar, Ronald and Thomas. Cherished Uncle of Paul and Gary Bury.
