Obituary of Robert Clyde MacMoyle

Robert Clyde MacMoyle - Robert C. MacMoyle of Toms River formerly of Orange and West Orange died on Sunday December 13, 2009 at his home in Toms River. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 17, 2009 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street in West Orange at 9:00 AM then to 1st Presbyterian Church of Orange, Scotland and Main Street in Orange at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. Visiting will be Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. MacMoyle was born and raised in Orange and lived in West Orange before moving to Toms River 2 years ago. He was an Essex County Sheriffs Officer for 20 years before retiring in 1998. Mr. MacMoyle served in the United States Navy from 1957-1963. He was a member of the Masons, and a Deacon, Elder, and Trustee of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Orange. Mr. MacMoyle was the beloved husband of 49 years of Evelyn Tallman, loving son of Virginia and the late Robert MacMoyle. Devoted father of Robert H. and his wife Laura. Loving brother of Kenneth and Rena. Cherished grandfather of Nicole and Ashley.
