Angela Therese Alicandri, 77, of Cedar Grove passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

 Visiting will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange (340 Main Street, West Orange) from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angela’s name to: Tribute Program

St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Pompton Ave. in Cedar Grove. Cremation will be private.

Angela was born and raised in Brooklyn, and lived in Manhattan before moving to Cedar Grove 16 years ago. She worked in Accounts Receivable at Belleview Hospital in New York City.

Angela was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Ida Alicandri.

Loving sister of Frank Alicandri and his late wife Tuggy, and Peter Alicandri and his wife Ann.  Cherished aunt of 15 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. Devoted niece to the late Livia Cardinale and cousin to Teresa Puglisi, and Angela Bennett and her husband Ron, and their son Mark, Peter and Elsie DelMonaco, Fran and Daria DelMonaco, Angela and John Capalbo and the late Phyllis Klein and Frank Cardinale.  She will be greatly missed.
