Obituary of Linda Ann Bierherr

Linda Ann Bierherr, 71

 Linda Ann Bierherr, 71, of West Orange passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019.

 Visiting will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange (340 Main Street, West Orange) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s name to Our Lady of the Valley Church.

 A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Our Lady of the Valley Church (510 Valley Street, Orange) at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

 Linda was born in East Orange, New Jersey, and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. She was a Registered Nurse and proudly served in the United States Navy Nursing Corps followed by a long career at the Veteran’s Administrative Hospital in East Orange. Linda was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church Choir, taught Sunday School, and was a Eucharistic Minister as well. She was an avid traveler, having visited many countries.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Theresa Bierherr, and her sister, Gail Marie Coe. Linda was very dedicated to her mother Theresa particularly after her father’s death, as well as to her aunt Ann. Linda herself was a dedicated and loving aunt, cherished by her niece Megan Coe, nephews Kevin Coe, James Coe, and his wife Erica, and grand-nephews Theo and Myles Coe. She was a dear friend and cousin to many others.
