William A. Brodean “Bill”, 83

William A. Brodean “Bill”, 83, of West Orange passed away on Sunday December 2, 2018.

Visiting will be held on Thursday December 6, 2018 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill’s name may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.

A Funeral Service will be offered on Friday December 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange.  Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover.

Bill was born and raised in Newark before moving to West Orange in 1968. . He was a proud member of the United States Army from 1957 to 1959 where he served as a prison guard at The United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. Bill worked as a produce clerk for Foodtown Supermarkets before retiring. He was a member of Local 1262 and The American Legion.

Bill was the beloved husband of 58 years to the late Theresa ‘nee Ormsby’ Brodean, who passed away six months ago. Cherished son of the Late William Bordean and the late Lillian Brodean. Loving father to William M. Brodean and Suzanne E. Guerriero and her husband Anthony. Cherished brother of the late Eugene Brodean, late sister-in-law Ellen Brodean, and the late Evelyn Brodean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
