I'm so very sorry for your loss. But may the words of Jesus Christ be what helps you all to see what he has given us in the form of a Guarrantee that is found in John 5:28,29 to where we find him here giving us a preview of what he will do in the future when he resurrect ones like, your dear loved one Dennis linderman back to life again and be able to live the real life as God purposed us to live as it is expressed in Gods word the Bible in Psalm 37:29 which says: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. So may these words bring a measure of comfort in knowing that all of you will be able to wrap your arms around Dennis in the future and be with him forever....

Dennis,
Thank you for welcoming our family into your life. We have many great memories of spending time with you, Linda and Shannon. I particularly enjoyed our motorcycle rides together. Thanks for showing me parts of NJ I probably never would've without you. We will miss you dearly.
Love Jonathan, Heather, Sarah & Matthew

To My Battle Buddy,
For we have closed the final chapter.
Now I know why we never said good bye to one another.
It was always, "See You Later". You will be missed dearly.
You taught me to live again, I lost what was so dear to me
not long ago. You jumped right in, you left a mark of Honor,
Patriotism for those around you. My Service Dog and I
will always look for you, but only feel oneself in spirit.
Rest in Peace My Combat Buddy,
"You Will Never Be Forgotten"

Dennis faced his final battle in the same way he faced the adversity and challenges that beset him in childhood and during the Vietnam War after which he meritoriously received two Purple Hearts. And now with this devastating disease he fought a battle that would ultimately take his life. He faced this final battle with the same uncomplaining dignity and resolve that was a hallmark of his character - Honor, Dignity and Courage.
He will surely be missed and remembered for his heart of gold by the friends and family who knew and loved him.

Dennis Linder was my long time friend and confidant. As fellow Vietnam combat Veterans, we met at VVA Chapter 510 in the early 1990's and quickly became very good friends. I will miss Dennis very much. I have had many friends in my life, but when I think of the most important ones and the ones that made a positive impact on my life, Dennis' face comes to mind. He was always there for his friends and especially his loving wife, Linda, and his wonderful daughter, Shannon. A true American warrior hero, Dennis put his life on the line for the good old USA which he loved dearly. There must be a special place in heaven for Dennis. Rest in peace buddy. We will meet again. Your friend forever, Dan.
