Sofia Baez, 91

Sofia Baez, 91, (nee Echavarria), of West Orange passed away on Friday July 27, 2018. Born and raised in Paso de Los Toros, Uruguay, she came to the United States in 1968 and lived in the Oranges before settling in West Orange   

Visiting will be held on Monday July 30, 2018 2:00 to 6:00 PM with a service starting at 5:30 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.   Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

Cremation will be private.      

Beloved mother of Nelson Manzor and Karina Baez. Cherished grandmother of Kristen Baez, Martin Manzor, Eduardo Manzor, and Gonzalo Manzo, she loved them each dearly.    Dear sister of Teressa Echavarria, Jose Alejandro, Maria Julia and Zulma Rodriguez.

Sofia worked at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, the Office in South Orange, the Atrium and the Rusty Scupper in West Orange, and previously worked at the Edison Factory in West Orange.  

Sofia was the devoted mother of Nelson Manzor and Karina Baez. Loving sister of Teressa Echavarria, Jose Algjandro, and Maria Jalia.  Cherished grandmother of 4.
