Patricia Ann Carson, 84

Patricia Ann Carson (nee Leonard), 84, of West Orange, passed away on Sunday March 11, 2018.

Visiting will be held on Friday March 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street.   Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Saint John’s Church, 94 Ridge Street in Orange. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, 408 Orange Road in Montclair.   

Patricia was born in Jersey City and was a longtime resident of the Oranges. She worked as a secretary at St. Michaels Medical Center in Newark for nearly 35 years and at First Occupational Center of New Jersey in Orange for more than 15 years.

Patricia was the beloved wife of 53 years to David T. Carson Sr. Devoted mother of Kathleen M. Carson, David T. Carson Jr. and his wife Janie, and Steven E. Carson and his wife Jennifer.  Loving sister of Virginia Purcell, Barbara DiPalo, and the late Robert Leonard.  Cherished grandmother of Emily, Benjamin, Blake, Abigail, and Katrina.  Loving aunt of 13, two deceased; great-aunt of 18; and great-great-aunt of 8.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to ASPCA in support of her love of animals.
