Marion V. Cleary, 102 - Marion V. Cleary (nee Sphale), 102, of Toms River, formerly of West Orange, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 22, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 26, 2013 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM. Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM, Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be held on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Marion was born in West Orange and lived in the house that her parents built, moving to Toms River 2 years ago. She was a homemaker. Marion was a member of The Happy Hour Club, Rosary Altar Society of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange and the West Orange Senior Citizens. Marion was the beloved wife of the late William F. Cleary. Devoted mother of Judith George and her husband William, Joan Cleary, and the late William R. Cleary. Loving Aunt of Kathleen P. Cassidy. She was predeceased by her brothers; Robert Sphale, Douglas Sphale , and Frank Sphale, and her sister Elizabeth Fennessy. Devoted grandmother of Debbie, Douglas, and Diana. Loving great-grandmother of Jamie, Dusti, Patrick, Casey, Zachary, Jack, Brian, Christopher, and Hailey, She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
