Obituary of Robert M. Vilsack III

Robert M. Vilsack III, 46 - Robert M. Vilsack III, 46 of Hackettstown, formerly Livingston, passed away suddenly on July 10th at home. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday July 25, 2013 at St. Raphael's Church, 364 East Mount Pleasant Ave. in Livingston at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Arrangements are entrusted to The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Memorial and Honor Program, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 Robert was born and raised in Livingston before moving to Hackettstown 11 years ago. He worked for Executrek Services/ IPS - Integrated Project Services assigned to PSEG as a Scheduling Engineer in South Plainfield. Prior to that he worked for Shaw Constructors in Cherry Hill and Moorestown as Senior Scheduler Engineer, Turner Construction Co. in Somerset as Project Superintendent/Scheduling Engineer, Sordi - Skanska USA Building Co. in Parsippany as Project Superintendent, York Hunter Construction Co. in Newark as Assistant Project Manager/Scheduling Engineer, and A. Fiore & Sons, Inc. / Bedrock Stone Co, in Newark as Construction Supervisor. He received his MS in Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, Wesley J. Howe School of Management Graduate Program in Hoboken, NJ, he received his BS in Engineering Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. Robert was a Member of Project Management Institution, the New Jersey Institute of Technology Alumni Association and he was the recipient of the New Jersey Construction Industry Advancement Program Scholarship in 1997. Robert was the beloved son of Dolores and the late Robert Vilsack Jr. Loving brother of Barbara Brennan and her husband Eugene, Carol Vilsack, Christopher Vilsack, and the late Margaret Vilsack. Cherished Uncle of Claire Meyer and Frederick Meyer. Loving Nephew of Margaret Fittin.
