Robert F. "Pete" Waldron, 82 - Robert F. "Pete" Waldron 82, of Livingston passed away on Saturday October 20, 2012 . Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 24, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 9:00 AM then to Our Lady of The Lake Church, 32 Lakeside Avenue Verona, NJ 07044 for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert's name to Somerset Hills Learning Institute, 1810 Burnt Mills, Bedminster, NJ 07921. Pete was born in Montclair living in West Orange and Orange before moving to Livingston. Mr. Waldron was a carpenter working for Local in Bloomfield. He was a Boy Scout Leader Troop 8, a Little League Coach both in Orange and a Lector at Saint John's Church. He proudly served in the United States Marines from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean War. Pete was the beloved husband of 51 years of Claire (nee Mehl) Waldron. Devoted mother of Mary Reinke, Robert F. Waldron Jr., William Waldron, Kathleen O'Callaghan and Gregory Waldron. Loving brother of Margaret Grimes, Dorothy Haas and the late Jack and Thomas Waldron. Cherished grandfather of 9.
