Eugene T. Merwin, 51 - Eugene T. Merwin of Kittanning, PA, formerly of West Orange, NJ passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2012. He was 51. Born in Orange he had lived in West Orange most of his life before moving to Kittanning, PA 5 years ago. He was a self-employed carpet installer in the Essex County area for many years. Mr. Merwin was predeceased by his father Francis Merwin. He is survived by his mother, Barbara (nee Allison) Merwin of Verona; children William J. Merwin and Brittany Maria Merwin; two brothers, Michael Merwin, retired West Orange Fire Department Captain and his wife Debra of East Hanover, David Merwin and his wife Trish of Verona; a sister Allison Wilfong of Huntington Beach, CA; many nieces and nephews and his companion Lina DeMasi of Kittanning, PA. Visitation was at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange (danglerfuneralhome.com) on Sunday August 5th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 5:00 pm. Cremation will be private In lieu of flowers please make donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Eugene T. Merwin.
