Obituary of Donato Parisi

Donato (Dan) Parisi, 77 - Donato (Dan) Parisi of Barneget (formerly of West Orange) passed away in Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, on Monday July 30, 2012. He was 77. Mr. Parisi was a rental manager for Hertz and Penske Companies for 54 years. He volunteered and served as Assistant Director with the West Orange Police Athletic League for over 30 years. He received the Ben L Spinelli Award from the West Orange Chapter of Unico, the Silver PBA Card from the West Orange PBA and the Rec Achievement Award from the West Orange Recreation Department for his years of service with the PAL. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Connie (nee Forte) Parisi; his children Linda Larkin and her husband Jimmy, Danny Parisi and his wife MaryAnn, Carol Berrellez and Victor and Mayor Robert Parisi and his wife Sheila; his brother Louis Parisi. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jimmy, Michael, Brian, Mathew, Jack, Patrick, Daniel, Kelly, Robert, Bianca, Austin & Alessandra. Funeral Services were held at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange (danglerfuneralhome.com) on Thursday August 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Liturgy was held on Friday August 3rd in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave, West Orange at 11:00 am. Interment was private.
