Sheila Appello, 48 - Sheila Appello (nee McGuire) of South Carolina, formerly of West Orange passed away on Sunday July 22, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 28, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 8:30 AM. Then to Saint Joseph's Church, Benvenue Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Friday from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Turning Point Recovery, 595 County Avenue, Meadowview Hospital Build. 9, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Sheila was born in Orange and raised in West Orange, living in Jefferson before moving to South Carolina. She was a home maker. Sheila was a member of the Giblin Association, a graduate of Katharine Gibbs and the former owner of South Orange Pastry Shop in New Jersey. Sheila was the beloved wife of Anthony Appello. Cherished daughter of John McGuire Sr. and the late Mary May "Maureen" McGuire (nee Corcoran) and the daughter-in-law of Joseph and the late Sis Appello. Devoted mother of Anthony and Michael. Loving sister of Mary Rixey, Eileen Burke, Catherine Altieri, James, John Jr., Anne Egan, Bridget Nash, Patricia Agront, Michael, Noreen Fabiano, and Kenneth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
