Dorothy Schott, 89 - Dorothy Schott (nee Hackett) of Livingston passed away on Monday June 18, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 10:00 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1 Eagle Rock Avenue West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Friday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to T.J. Martell Foundation 550 Madison Avenue Skylobby, N.Y., N.Y. 10022. Mrs. Schott was raised in West Orange and lived in Orange before moving to Livingston 40 years ago. She worked as a Reader for Burrelles's in Livingston. Mrs. Schott was a member of the Rosary Altar Society at Saint John's Church in Orange and a Girl Scout Leader. Mrs. Schott was the beloved wife of the late Francis Patrick Schott Sr., former Fire Chief of the City of Orange. Devoted mother of Pamela Schott, Michelle Schott, Francine Schott, and Francis P. Schott Jr. . Cherished Grand Mother of Gregory, Melissa, Mary Katherine, Heather, Riley, Connell, and Peyton. Great-Grandmother of Shealynn Vezina.
