Mariana A. Cassidy, 90 - Mariana A. Cassidy (nee Dougherty)of West Orange passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 24, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 9:00 AM then to Saint Philomena's Church, South Livingston Avenue, Livingston for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint John's Cemetery in Orange. Visiting will be Friday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the New Jersey Community Food Bank, 31 Evans Terminal, Hillside, NJ 07205. Mrs. Cassidy was born in Newark and was a life long resident of West Orange. She was a home maker. Mrs. Cassidy was the beloved wife of the late James Cassidy. Devoted mother of Mariana Cassidy, James Cassidy, Joseph Cassidy and his wife Joyce, Robert and his wife Lori, Stephen and his wife Patricia, Catherine Galli and her husband Pasquale, Dennis and Marilyn Holmeland, Edward and his wife Maureen and the late William. Loving mother-in-law of Susan. Loving sister of the late James and Joseph Dougherty. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
