Obituary of John Edward Sprouls

John Edward Sprouls - John E. Sprouls of West Orange died on Friday January 9, 2009 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2009 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 9:00 AM then to Our Lady of the Valley Church 510 Valley Road in Orange for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Monday 7-9 PM & Tuesday 3-7 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. Sprouls was born and raised in Jersey City, moving to West Orange in 1954. He was the Building Manager for Colgate Palmolive in Jersey City. Mr. Sprouls also worked part time for De Camp Bus Company in Montclair for 42 years and Community Coach as a Dispatcher & Driver for 14 years in Passaic, and also as a Bar Tender at Libretti's Restaurant in Orange for 25 years. He was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Orange. Mr. Sprouls served in the United States Army from 1952-1954 as a Corporal during the Korean War. Mr. Sprouls was the beloved husband of the late Catherine Sprouls (nee White). Devoted father of John Robert, James Michael, Bernard Neal and Mary Catherine Cohrs, and the late Virginia Sprouls. Loving brother of Mary DeRiso and Dolores Killen. Cherished grandfather of 7.
