Obituary of Patrick Joseph Hampson

Patrick "Paddy" Joseph Hampson - Patrick J. "Paddy" Hampson of New Port Richie Florida formerly of West Orange died on January 13, 2012 he was 70 years old. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 20, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1 Eagle Rock Avenue West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Thursday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Patrick was born in Montclair and raised in West Orange before moving to New Port Richie, Florida 23 years ago. Pat was an Essex County Corrections Officer for 21 years before retiring in 1988. He was a member of the West Pasco Moose Lodge, the West Orange Elks BPOE #1590 and the Essex County Correction Officers PBA Local 157. Mr. Hampson served proudly in the United States Army. He was the beloved son of the late Spencer and Dorothy Hampson. Devoted father of Steven Hampson , Tracey Curcio, Sean Hampson and Megan Hampson. Cherished grandfather of 4. Loving brother of Hope Grimes, Donald and the late Peter Hampson.
