Obituary of Fernande Freida Burgher

Fernande Freida Burgher, 90 Fernande F. Burgher (nee Meyer),90, of West Orange passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. Visitation will be held at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 M , with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Montclair. Fernande was born in Morristown and raised in Orange before moving to West Orange in 1974. She worked for the United States Postal Service as a clerk for the Newark Post Office. Fernande volunteered at the New Jersey State Opera, and was a parishioner of Ridgeview Presbyterian Church in West Orange. Fernande was the beloved wife of the late Robert T. Burgher. Devoted mother of Robert, Steven, and the late John Burgher. Loving sister of Martha Bonkoski and Alvin Meyer. Aunt of much loved William, Jill, Judith, Joanne, Jeannette, Janine, Barry, Deborah, Julie, John, James, David, Arlene, and Leonard. Her sons thank Mimosa, Jackie, Paulette, Justina, Shia and Theodora for their great kindness in caring for their mother.
